Elaine Rogers is a founding principal and current president of Rogers DeSimone, a position she has held since the founding of the firm as Henderson Rogers Structural Engineers. Elaine has over 33 years of experience in the design of building structures and has helped build the firm’s reputation for excellence by providing consistent, responsive service to owners, architects and design-build clients.
Elaine has been an instrumental leader in the following projects: Discovery Green, United Airlines Terminal B Southside Expansion, and Texas Tech University Dan Law Baseball Field.
She has been in Houston for 25 years and has had her own firm for the past 20 years. Elaine is a certified LEED AP BD+C (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional with the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). She is also a member of the ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers), SEAoT (Structural Engineers Association of Texas), Rice Design Alliance (RDA) and the ACEC (American Council of Engineering Companies).
Elaine earned her Bachelor of Architecture degree and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree from Texas Tech University in 1983, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas, Arkansas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Virginia and North Carolina.
